Our bulk listing is largely designed for companies and business that keep track of their data using a spreadsheet or database software. Most of those software has an export or a save-as option of a comma-delimited format. That is exactly what you will need.
To upload your inventory, please follow these instructions
- Log into your account
- Proceed to the "My Dealer Services" section
- Click on the in "Bulk Upload" link of the "My Listings" panel
- Specify your options
- Upload your file
Below is a description of the fields that can be used in your data file.
Please make sure that the sequence and the number of fields in your file matches our format. Otherwise it will cause errors and, as a result, a failure to upload your listings.
- ID (optional) - an item's stock # that uniquely identifies it among your inventory.
It should be a number or a combination of numbers and/or letters up to 32 character long.
Example: A12345.
If you don't use a unique ID for your inventory, always choose a "Replace" option as the upload method to avoid duplicates.
- Make - a make of the item.
It can be one of the following: see the list.
- Model - a model of the item.
It can be one of the following: see the list.
- Year - a year when the item was manufactured.
It should be a 4 digit number.
Example: 2004.
- Condition - an item's condition.
It can be one of the following: see the list.
- Category - An item's category.
It can be one of the following: see the list.
- Transmission - an item's transmission.
It can be one of the following: see the list.
- Mileage - a current mileage on the item's odometer.
It should be a whole number. Please try to exclude special characters like [space"$#-,.].
Example: 35000.
- Doors - a number of doors the item has.
It should be a whole number.
Example: 4.
- Color - an item's exterior color.
It should be a plain text up to 64 character long.
- Vin (optional) - an item identification #.
It should be a combination of numbers and/or letters exactly 17 character long.
Example: 123ABC456DEF7890Z.
- Price - an asking price for the item.
It should be a whole number. Please try to exclude special characters like [space"$#-,.].
Example: 4995.
- Description (optional) - an item's description.
It should be a plain text up to 2000 characters. No html is accepted.
- Photo (optional) - A url address of the item's photo.
Example: http://www.yoursite.com/myitem.jpg
- City - a city of the item's location.
Example: Spartanburg.
- State - a 2 letter state abbreviation of the item's location.
Example: SC.
- Zip - a 5 digit zip code of the item's location.
